All-Star Weekend Recap

14.3kviews

All-Star Weekend was full of parties and fun as people from all over the world stopped by Atlanta to get a taste of this Hotlanta lifestyle. People were even seen traveling in U-Haul trucks just to be able to party amongst some of the biggest stars and celebrities.

However, Atlanta did experience a drastic change in the activity level this weekend. Aside from the car break ins, crazy littering, and the rented out foreign whips, the violence that took place this weekend will have you shocked .

On Thursday morning, Oak Atlanta made the news after experiencing a broken window due to gunfire in front of their establishment. Many were worried if Oak would proceed with their opening All-Star Weekend activities, but the show definitely did go on.

In other news, Houston rapper Chucky Trill, Corey Detiege, was shot and killed on I-85 highway on Saturday at 3 am. Reports indicate that he was on his way to perform at one of the All-Star Weekend parties in Atlanta. With violence storming the streets of Atlanta, officials are reconsidering any more All-Star Weekend events to take place. However, we highly doubt this will be the last time you see All-Star weekend from gracing the Atlanta street’s with its presence.
