Atlanta is filled with hustlers and breadwinners that come from all across the globe just to get a taste of what it is like to be in Black Hollywood, the place where black people’s dreams can be made. With money being the sole focus of some of these ladies’ drive, you may wonder what separates the hustlers from the pretenders. Well, Kiyana otherwise known as Cookie can let you know the difference.
Cookie viewed dancing as her way of survival and she was going to make sure she was at the top of the food chain. She started dancing at Magic City and worked her way to secure her spot as a favorite at Blue Flame Lounge. The appreciation for the culture in Atlanta on entertainers is something that motivates her to entertain and perform to the best of her abilities.
She translates her persona on the stage to her music as well. You may have seen her on Episode 3 of Rhythm and Flow on Netflix, where she shared her story about her struggles, family, and her experiences with dancing. Her records with some of Atlanta’s natives such as Jeezy, Rocko, Akbar V, Juugman and many more let it be known that she takes her music seriously. She is currently working on new music that will be released on her soon to come Youtube channel.
She is also preparing for her new record called Type Guy ft. Salma Slims that will be dropping in April. This star on the rise is much more than a cute face and a nice bawdy, this R&B singer has major talent and we won’t hear the last from her. You can go follow her Instagram @kiyanamusic_ and come spend your money on her at Blue Flame Lounge and make sure you ask for Cookie.
