Coming from Louisville, Kentucky Steve Pennington has been in charge of some of the littest parties across the world. As he grew into his confidence of being a top event planner, he knew from a young age that he was good at creating a good time. As he reflects on the time spent with him and his friends, he states that one of his favorite memories is of him and his friends having good safe fun at parties.
Pennington ventured to Northern Kentucky University and got bored of the slow paced environment. During his sophomore year at college after his transfer to University of Louisville, he began to notice that throwing parties was something that he thoroughly enjoyed and could utilize to make some extra money on the side. Through determination and success, he was manage to remain vigilant with his group Good Timers to market and promote major events in major cities including the A!
One of his most epic parties was the annual Derby Eve Experience Party for the Louisville Derby where a special celebrity guest came to be the DJ for the event. It was none other than the talented Erkyah Badu and she tore the scene up! Many of his events have featured multiple celebrity guests and his success continues to grow with throwing parties.
Being a Jack Of All Trade, Pennington also deals with marketing for small businesses and creates campaign strategies. Steve Pennington also has a clothing store called Built To Last and a brand featured called “Louisville Built”. He also do ecommerce and online businesses for multiple. His advice to young party promoters is to figure out your market and focus on how to stand out amongst the others.
