Which Bar Is Close To Closing?

3.6kviews

Burn Lounge and among many other lounges around the area might be in risk of losing their liquor license. According to recent reports, Police Chief Keith Meadows stated due to multiple infractions of low security measures, he pulled the owner’s liquor license. Recent allegations have made others reconsider visiting any of these entertainment establishments. South Fulton County’s crime department stated that these establishments are not properly regulating the parking area to keep the crime rate low in South Fulton County.

As District 3 Councilwoman Helen Z. Willis was giving her interview about her sentiments on revoking the license, the owner of the establishment, Shonica Crocker, interrupted the interview with her own press conference responding to these allegations. Due to rumors of the City of South Fulton pulling Burn Lounge and South Beach Nightclub’s liquor license as a part of the city’s initiatives to crack down on crime and sex traffiking, Khalid Bey represented  Crocker in this press conference.

Crocker stated in this press conference that the city insinuating these black owned establishments are participating in any illegal activity is defamatory and derogatory. These lounges will have the option to appeal these infractions, but their business will be affected by their liquor license being revoked.
