The hotspots over by Old National Highway have been recently facing some allegations that have hindered the success of their business. The Bodega: Fish, Chicken And Shrimp is one of the businesses that have received the most slander and ultimately the biggest financial loss.
As of the beginning of 2021, this black owned Bodega spot is permanently closed. The Bodega along with many other restaurants have been subdued to South Fulton County’s crime crackdown initiative in 2020. These spots over by Old Nat have been known for being some of the most hot spots for crime. On December 9th, a virtual hearing was made to determine whether the business’s license will be revoked forcing them to shut down their business.
They were faced with multiple infractions ultimately causing South Fulton County to remove this company indefinitely. They have been allegations towards the establishment that sex traffiking could possibly be taking place frequently over at this establishment.
We have heard little to no word from the establishment making any official statement. We will miss the littest hookah spot on the Southside.
